Privacy Policy

How we handle your information, cookies, and analytics at Jompie.

Last updated: May 4, 2026

Who we are

Jompie ("we", "us") operates the website jompie.com. This policy describes what we collect, why we use it, and your rights. For privacy questions, contact us at help@jompie.com.

Data we collect

  • Email address and account details when you register, sign in, or complete checkout (for authentication, order fulfilment, and support).
  • Cookies and similar technologies, including essential cookies for authentication and session management, and—only if you choose "Accept All"—analytics cookies used by Google Analytics (for example identifiers such as _ga, _gid, and related GA4 cookies).

Purpose of processing

  • Core functionality: operating the site, accounts, security, downloads, and purchases.
  • Traffic analysis (optional): if you consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our pages so we can improve content and performance. Analytics does not run unless you accept non-essential cookies.

Cookie classification

Essential cookies

Required for the site to work as you expect—for example authentication and session cookies that keep you signed in and protect account features. These are not used for advertising and are not contingent on analytics consent.

Analytics cookies (non-essential)

Set by Google Analytics when you click "Accept All". They help us measure traffic and usage. If you choose "Reject Non-Essential", we do not load Google Analytics and these cookies are not placed for that purpose.

We store your choice in a first-party cookie named cookie_consent (values accepted or rejected) for about 12 months, with SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS, so we can respect your decision on return visits.

Third-party disclosure

When you consent to analytics, data is processed by Google Analytics (Google LLC, United States) according to Google's terms and privacy documentation. Google may process certain information such as device and usage data as described in their policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Payment processing, if applicable, is handled by our payment providers under their own terms and privacy notices.

Cookie and session security

Where we set cookies from our servers, we use appropriate flags for the context—for example SameSite=Lax and Secure in production over HTTPS. Some session tokens may be readable by the application in the browser where required for your session to function; we limit use to operating the service.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you.
  • Deletion of your account or personal data, subject to legal or legitimate retention needs (for example completed transactions).
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the site footer, which reopens the cookie banner so you can change your choice.

To exercise these rights, email help@jompie.com.

Children's privacy

Our content is for families and educators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parental involvement. If you believe a child has provided personal data in error, contact us at the email above.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted on the site where appropriate.
